Welcome to RUFF STUFF.

This is collection of songs I've written and recorded over the last year for my solo project TWIN//VENUS.

Most of these songs were recorded in my bedroom in London, under a red light, alone and thinking too much. In THE ZONE.

Some of the drum tracks were recorded at Super Unison, a practice space in Peckham. I'm not so good at the drums just yet but it felt important to smash them myself for this.

This set of material feels kinda like a secret diary, or making these songs helped me figure a lot of things out over the last 12 months and I've been shy to show them to anyone for too long. So here we are.

On some songs you might be able to hear a clarinet! It's real!

I would say these trax are all demos, but (very amazing) things are happening musically elsewhere right now which means I have to close this chapter with T//V for a moment, I need to leave this space dormant for a while, but this is where it was at, and what it was to me over the last year which has been incredible in so many ways, but also very scary and new and hard to adjust to. This music has helped me. Maybe you'll enjoy it.
